How to set up texting workflows in My AI Front Desk

You can program your AI receptionist to send custom text messages during a conversation based on what the caller says. For example, if the caller asks to schedule an appointment, the receptionist can text the caller a link to your Calendly page.

How to Set Up Texting Workflows:

  1. Access your My AI Front Desk Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the "Left Menu Bar" Click on “✏️Edit Receptionist” option.
  3. Scroll Down to Locate the "Texting Workflows (Optional)" option.
  4. Define triggers and corresponding text messages based on your business needs.
  5. Save your Texting Workflows settings.

Example Texting Workflow: Scheduling an Appointment

Let's say you want the AI to send a link to schedule an appointment whenever a caller expresses the need for an appointment or consultation. Here is how you would set it up.

When a caller says anything related to appointments or bookings, your AI receptionist will spring into action, sending a custom text message tailored to the situation.

Continuing to Interact with the User

Now that your receptionist has texted the user, you can keep track of that conversation in the texting platform. You can continue to text the user in the texting platform for free.
