Outbound Overview
Outbound campaigns are automated campaigns that let you engage contacts with a series of actions -- texts, emails, phone calls, delays, and conditions -- triggered automatically when contacts meet your criteria.
Video walkthrough
Getting Started
Navigate to Outbound from the sidebar. The page header reads Outbound with the description "Automate your customer journey."
Outbound List
The main page displays your outbound campaigns as a grid of cards. Each card shows:
- Workflow name and a colorful icon
- Version tag -- The current version number (e.g., v1, v2)
- Status indicator -- Either Active (green) or Inactive (gray), with a toggle switch
- Created and Updated dates
- Edit button -- Opens the workflow builder
- Delete button -- Permanently removes the workflow after confirmation
Stats Bar
A toolbar above the grid shows:
- Total Outbound -- The total number of outbound campaigns you have created.
- Active -- How many workflows are currently enabled.
- Inactive -- How many workflows are paused.
- New campaign button -- Start building a new workflow.
Empty State
If you have no outbound campaigns yet, a prompt appears with a Create your first campaign button to get started.
How Outbound Works
- Set a trigger and enrollment conditions -- Define which contacts should enter the workflow. Contacts matching your enrollment rules are automatically qualified.
- Build your flow -- Chain together steps (SMS, calls, emails, delays, and conditions) that execute in order for each qualifying contact.
- Activate -- Toggle the workflow on when you are ready. You can pause or resume it at any time.
Activating an Outbound Campaign
When you toggle a workflow on, an Activate Outbound Campaign modal appears:
- If contacts currently match your enrollment rules, the modal shows how many qualified leads were found.
- You can optionally check Run this outbound campaign on these leads immediately to enroll those existing contacts right away.
- Click Activate to enable the workflow (and optionally enroll the leads).
If no contacts currently match, the workflow activates and will run automatically when new contacts meet your enrollment rules in the future.
Deleting an Outbound Campaign
Click Delete on any workflow card. A confirmation dialog warns that the action cannot be undone. Click Delete to confirm.
