Shareable Booking Links

Frontdesk provides a public booking page where your customers can browse your services, pick a date and time, and book an appointment on their own -- no phone call required. You can share this page as a link or embed it directly on your website.

How the booking page works

When a customer opens your booking link, they are guided through a step-by-step process:

  1. Select a Service -- choose from your active services. Each service shows its name, duration, and description.
  2. Choose Date & Time -- a calendar shows available dates. After selecting a date, available time slots appear based on your availability settings and any existing events on your connected calendar.
  3. Enter Your Details -- the customer fills in their name, email, phone number, and answers to any additional questions you configured for the service.
  4. Booking Complete -- a confirmation screen appears with the appointment details.

Optionally, customers can choose to pick a host (team member) first and then see only the services that host offers, or pick a service first and then optionally choose a host. A link at the bottom of each step lets them switch approaches.

  1. Open Calendar and click the My Services tab.
  2. Click Copy Public Booking Link at the top of the page.
  3. The link is copied to your clipboard. Share it via email, text, social media, or add it to your website.

This link opens a page listing all of your active services.

Each service has its own dedicated booking link that skips the service selection step and goes directly to the date and time picker.

  1. On the My Services tab, find the service card.
  2. Click the link icon or the Copy Booking Link option.
  3. The service-specific link is copied to your clipboard.

You can also click the preview icon to open the booking page for that service in a new browser tab.

Embedding the booking page on your website

Instead of sending customers to a separate page, you can embed the booking experience directly on your website.

  1. On the My Services tab, click Embed on Website.
  2. The Booking Embed modal opens with an HTML code snippet.
  3. Copy the code and paste it into your website's HTML where you want the booking widget to appear.

What customers see

Service selection

Customers see a card for each active service showing:

  • Service name
  • Duration (in minutes)
  • Description (if provided)

Date and time selection

After choosing a service, the customer sees:

  • A summary of the selected service (and host, if chosen)
  • A calendar to pick a date (past dates are disabled)

  • An optional host selector if the service has multiple hosts

Booking form

The final step collects:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Answers to any additional questions you added to the service
  • Notes (optional)

For services with group capacity enabled, the customer can add multiple participants.

After submitting, the customer sees a Booking Complete screen with a summary of their appointment. They also have the option to book another appointment.

  • Add the link to your email signature
  • Include it in text message auto-replies
  • Post it on your Google Business profile or social media pages
