Voicemail Logs
When callers leave a voicemail with your AI receptionist, the message is automatically recorded, transcribed, and saved. You can access all voicemails from the Inbox or from the standalone Voicemail Logs page.
Accessing Voicemails from the Inbox
From the sidebar, click Inbox. Then click the Voicemails tab at the top. A count badge next to the tab name shows how many voicemails are available.
Each voicemail entry in the list shows:
- The caller's phone number
- The date and time the voicemail was left
- An unread indicator (red dot) for voicemails you have not listened to yet
- A blue voicemail icon to distinguish it from other log types
Click a voicemail entry to open its details in the right-hand panel.
Voicemail Detail View (Inbox)
When you select a voicemail in the Inbox, the detail panel displays:
- Audio player -- Click the play button to listen to the voicemail recording. The player shows the voicemail duration.
- Transcript -- A text transcription of what the caller said, displayed below the audio player.
You can also click the Share button in the top-right corner to share the voicemail via a shareable link, if one is available.
Standalone Voicemail Logs Page
You can also access voicemails from the dedicated Voicemail Logs page. This page displays voicemails in a table format with the following columns:
- Dates -- The date and time the voicemail was received, shown in your configured time zone.
- From -- The phone number of the caller.
- Recording -- A Listen or Play Voicemail button to load and play the recording. If no recording is available, a No Recording tag is shown. The button shows the voicemail duration on hover.
- Actions -- A View button to open the voicemail details, and a delete button (trash icon) to remove the entry.
Viewing Voicemail Details
Click View on any row to open the Voicemail Log Details modal. This modal shows:
- Username -- The forwarding number or agent name associated with the voicemail.
- Date -- The exact date and time the voicemail was recorded.
- From -- The caller's phone number.
- Transcript -- The full text transcription of the voicemail message.
Each field includes a copy button so you can quickly copy the value to your clipboard.
Filtering by Date
Use the date range picker at the top of the Voicemail Logs page to filter voicemails to a specific time period. Select a start date and end date, and the table updates to show only voicemails within that range. Clear the dates to see all voicemails again.
Downloading Voicemail Logs
Click the Download Logs button at the top of the Voicemail Logs page to export your voicemails as a CSV file. The download includes the date, caller number, username, and transcript for each voicemail.
You can also download voicemail logs from the Inbox. Click Download in the toolbar and select Voicemail Logs from the dropdown.
Refreshing Voicemail Logs
Click Refresh Logs at the top of the page to reload the latest voicemail data. The button shows a loading indicator while the data is being refreshed.
Deleting a Voicemail
To delete a voicemail:
- Click the delete button (trash icon) on the voicemail entry.
- A confirmation dialog appears: "Are you sure you want to delete this Voicemail log?"
- Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to go back.
This action cannot be undone.
Read/Unread Status
Voicemails that you have not yet viewed are marked as unread. When you click View on a voicemail, it is automatically marked as read. In the Inbox view, unread voicemails display a red dot indicator.
