Call Logs
Your Inbox is the central hub for viewing all call activity handled by your AI receptionist. Every inbound and outbound call is logged with a full transcript, AI-generated summary, sentiment analysis, call score, and recording.
Accessing Call Logs
From the sidebar, click Inbox. The Inbox opens with the All Inbox tab selected by default, showing calls, voicemails, texts, and chatbot conversations in a single timeline.
To see only calls, click the Calls tab at the top of the Inbox. A count badge next to the tab name shows how many call entries are available.
Understanding the Call List
Each entry in the call list displays:
- The caller's name (or "Unknown Caller" if no contact is saved)
- The caller's phone number
- The date and time of the call, shown in your configured time zone
- A directional badge showing whether the call was Inbound or Outbound
- A color-coded icon identifying the log type (green gradient for inbound calls, blue gradient for outbound calls)
- An unread indicator (red dot) for calls that have not been reviewed yet
Click any entry to open its full details in the right-hand panel.
Call Detail View
When you select a call, the detail panel shows the caller's name (or "Unknown Caller"), their phone number, and the call timestamp. If the caller has been added as a CRM lead, clicking the name opens their Customer Details modal where you can view and update saved contact information.
The detail panel has several tabs that appear depending on what data is available for that call:
Recording & Transcript
The Recording & Transcript tab is selected by default. It contains:
- Audio player -- Click the play button to listen to the call recording. If no recording exists, the player indicates that no recording is available.
- Call Transcript -- A chat-style view of the full conversation. Messages from the AI receptionist appear on the left with a white background, and messages from the caller appear on the right in blue. System events (such as text messages sent during the call) appear as centered labels.
Summary & Analysis
The Summary & Analysis tab shows AI-generated insights:
- Summary -- A concise paragraph describing what the call was about, the caller's intent, and the outcome.
- Call Score -- A numeric rating from 1 to 5 (displayed with stars) indicating how well the call went, along with a written explanation.
- Sentiment Analysis -- A percentage breakdown of Positive, Neutral, and Negative sentiment detected throughout the call, with a description of the overall tone.
Smart Call Analysis
The Smart Call Analysis tab appears when post-call analysis has been configured for your receptionist. It shows a Post-Call Analysis Report with custom analysis scenarios you have defined (such as Customer Feedback, Sales Data, Call Classification, or Call Outcome). Each scenario displays its label and structured output.
You can configure up to three analysis scenarios from the call logs settings. Choose from built-in templates like Customer Feedback, Sales Data, Call Classification, and Call Outcome, or click Add Custom to create your own. Each scenario defines what information the AI should extract and in what format (Text, JSON, Boolean, or Number).
Pricing Details
The Pricing Details tab shows a cost breakdown for the call, including AI call cost, transferred call cost, and any minutes covered by your free plan allowance. This tab is hidden for white-label accounts.
Tickets
The Tickets tab appears when the call triggered an intake form. It shows any tickets or form submissions that were created during the conversation.
Sharing a Call Log
To share a call log with a colleague or client, click the Share button (share icon) in the top-right corner of the call detail panel. This opens the Share Call Log modal, which provides a shareable link. The button is disabled if no shareable link is available for that call.
Searching and Filtering
At the top of the Inbox, use the search bar to filter logs by phone number, contact name, or message content.
When viewing the Calls tab specifically, you have additional filtering controls in the toolbar:
- Filter -- Opens a panel with a Date Range picker where you can select a start and end date to narrow results. Click Apply Filters to apply, or Clear All to reset.
- Hide empty calls -- A toggle that removes calls with no meaningful conversation content from the list.
- Refresh -- Click to reload the latest call data.
Downloading Call Logs
Click the Download button in the toolbar to export your logs. A dropdown appears with options for Call Logs, Text Logs, and Voicemail Logs.
When downloading call logs, you can choose which columns to include:
- Click Download in the toolbar.
- Select Call Logs from the dropdown.
- A Select Columns for Download modal appears, letting you check or uncheck individual data fields.
- Click Select All to include every column, or pick only the ones you need.
- Click the Download button to generate the file.
The download processes in the background. You will see a notification once it is ready.
Deleting a Call Log
To delete a call log, click the delete icon (trash can) on the log entry in the list, then confirm in the Confirm Delete dialog. A warning reminds you that this action cannot be undone. Click Delete to proceed or Cancel to go back.
Marking Calls as Read
Unread calls are indicated by a red dot next to the caller's name. Clicking on a call to view its details automatically marks it as read. You can also use the Mark All Read toolbar button to mark all visible call logs as read at once.
Loading More Logs
The Inbox loads call logs in pages. If more logs are available beyond what is currently shown, scroll to the bottom of the list to automatically fetch additional entries. The number of logs you can access depends on your subscription plan.
