Zapier Integration

Connect your Frontdesk AI receptionist to 6,000+ apps through Zapier. Zapier lets you build automated workflows ("Zaps") that trigger when calls are received, appointments are booked, or leads are captured.

Video walkthrough

Overview

The Zapier integration gives you three credentials you'll paste into Zapier:

  • Zapier Invite Link -- a private link to access the Frontdesk integration inside Zapier
  • API Key -- authenticates your Zapier connection
  • Username -- identifies your Frontdesk account

A status badge shows whether the integration is Enabled or Disabled.

Setting up Zapier

  1. Open your receptionist dashboard and navigate to the Advanced Settings section.
  2. Find the Zapier Integration card.
  3. Copy the Zapier Invite Link and open it in your browser. This gives you access to the Frontdesk integration inside Zapier.
  4. Copy the API Key by clicking the copy icon next to the field.
  5. Copy the Username the same way.
  6. In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose Frontdesk as the trigger or action app.
  7. When Zapier prompts you for credentials, paste your API Key and Username.

What you can automate

Common Zaps include:

  • New call received -- push call details to a Google Sheet, CRM, or Slack channel
  • Appointment booked -- create a calendar event or send a confirmation email
  • Lead captured -- add a new contact to your CRM or email marketing tool
  • Post-call summary -- send transcripts and call summaries to a project management tool

Tips

  • Each receptionist (agent) has its own Zapier credentials. Make sure you select the correct agent before copying your keys.
  • If you update your agent or create a new one, you may need to reconnect in Zapier.
  • Test your Zap with a sample call to confirm data flows correctly before going live.
